From Chamonix, you can take the gondola lift to Plan Praz at 2000m, then the cable car to Le Brévent at 2,525m. Discover the south slope and its great panoramic view of Mont Blanc.
From Les Praz village to the Flégère, 1894 m, you will discover two south-facing areas with far-reaching views over the Mont Blanc range. This site represents the departure points for some great classical hikes leading to magnificent mountain lakes.
For more than 50 years, the most famous and on of the highest aiguille de Chamonix has been an essential world attraction. From the centre of Chamonix, a 20 minutes ride in the Aiguille du Midi cable car takes you to the gateway to the high Alps at a height of 3,842 m.
From the village of Le Tour and Vallocirne, the Charamillon and Vallorcine gondolas, and the Autannes chairlift, 2185 m, transport you over rich alpine pastures into a fabulous nature and leisure area.
You can head up to the Aiguille du Midi in the Mont Blanc Panoramique cable car for a magical 50 minute long trip.
From the village of Argentière, the Lognan cable car 1972 m and Grands Montets cablecar 3300 m, will transport you into the realm of rugged high moutain scenery at the foot of the Aiguille Verte.
The Taconnaz glacier is a glacier located in the Mont-Blanc massif, between Les Houches and Chamonix.
